Inspire!’s Get Ready for Work Experience

Inspire! works with mainstream secondary schools and colleges in Hackney and Camden and provides a range of programmes and services to enrich young people’s education, particularly through helping them to learn about and prepare for the world of work.

Inspire!’s Get Ready for Work Experience programme prepares students for their work experience placements, enabling them to confidently undertake their placement and use their experiences to succeed in their future career plans.

Volunteers are needed for an upcoming programme at William Ellis School in Camden. They will support students to identify the skills and qualities required for the work environment and share their own work experiences to highlight employer expectations. Volunteers will lead the students through a combination of individual and group-work activities, including written worksheets, brainstorming sessions, discussions and presentations to improve transferable skills and equip students with the knowledge of how to make the most out of their work experience.
