The Big Bang Fair London 2016

Date: 5th of July 2016, from 10:00 to 15:30

Venue: Westminster Kingsway College

The Knowledge Quarter is delighted to be partnering with the Big Bang Fair at Westminster Kingsway College. The Big Bang London events are part of the UK-wide regional Big Bang Fairs which, in 2015, inspired over 115,000 students and changed their attitude toward Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The aim is to create free days for Key Stage 3 & 4 students and help them explore the research, products, organisations and industry that are shaping the future of STEM.

Knowledge Quarter partners are invited to take part to promote their work and inspire young people with science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Please note that Big Bang welcome submissions from Arts and Cultural organisations with a focus on STEM elements, for example the science behind conservation and restoration of objects.

The Big Bang London Central will take place on 5th of July at Westminster Kingsway College and will attract around 2000 students. There are three main ways you can get involved in The Big Bang London, which are all outlined in the expression of interest document.

Please return the expression of interest to Nicola Hern and Jodie Eastwood by 15th of April 2016.
