The Fawcett Lecture: In conversation with Dame Jenni Murray DBE

In occasion of this year Facwett Lecture – a lecture dedicated to the historical change in the social position of women – author and broadcaster Jenni Murray, who has presented Woman’s Hour for more than 28 years and lived through the evolution of feminism during the second half of the 20th century, will give her contribution in discussing women, then and now.

Threads: Rethinking Fashion

Knowledge Quarter’s partner, Impact Hub King’s Cross, will launch a series of events on sustainability in the textile and fashion industry. The series of events entitled ‘Threads: Rethinking Fashion’ will explore the different aspects of the industry’s supply chain; starting with the event ‘From fibres to fabrics: Sustainable sourcing practices to procure raw materials’.

Arts Catalyst launches Centre for Art, Science & Technology

Arts Catalyst opens a Centre for Art, Science and Technology in London’s King’s Cross. The centre will provide a space for artists and scientists to experiment and create new projects. For its opening exhibition Arts Catalyst presents Notes from the Field: Commoning Practices in Art and Science.
