Threads: Rethinking Fashion

Knowledge Quarter’s partner, Impact Hub King’s Cross, will launch a series of events on sustainability in the textile and fashion industry, on Tuesday 23rd February. The series of events entitled ‘Threads: Rethinking Fashion‘ will explore the different aspects of the industry’s supply chain; starting with the event ‘From fibres to fabrics: Sustainable sourcing practices to procure raw materials‘.
The evening, moderated by Nancy Johnston from Tengri, will comprise talks from Charlotte Turner, from The Sustainable Angle & Centre of Sustainable Fashion and Christopher Stopes from Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and deliver opportunities to engage with pioneering practitioners as part of a live case study exhibition.
Threads: Rethinking Fashion is open to industry professionals, students and those interested in sustainability. Tickets are £5 in advance, but free for Impact Hub Members.
