Join the Knowledge Quarter for the first of our post-lockdown in person private views, in partnership with the Francis Crick Institute. Through an immersive art-installation, and a series of extraordinary films, you’ll discover the big questions, hopes and challenges that drive these remarkable scientists to try and outsmart this constantly evolving disease.
The Bloomsbury Festival celebrates contemporary Bloomsbury; a hotbed of creativity and pioneering development which has one of the youngest and most diverse populations in the country. This year, the KQ will present an hour of lightning talks at the Bloomsbury Festival exploring everything from enlightenment to illumination, from scientific, cultural, and historic perspectives.
This event is part of It is part of Getting to Net Zero, a new series of workshops and masterclasses designed to help members understand their carbon emissions and develop strategies to do something about it. Four guest speakers will tackle the headline goals of the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26), while grounding the macroscopic scale of the negotiations in the everyday reality of the Knowledge Quarter.

Developed in partnership with an international group of specialists in fascism, this exhibition focuses on the experiences of the rank-and-file members these movements in the interwar period.
This event will be part of our wellbeing special interest group series, open to all KQ staff. This meeting will bring together people who are interested in practises that can improve and support the wellbeing of staff with caring responsibilities in the KQ.
