Volunteer opportunities at our upcoming conference!

The Knowledge Quarter is looking for volunteers for our upcoming conference ‘The Future of Knowledge’ which is taking place on Monday 12 February at the British Museum. The Future of Knowledge is a one-day Conference of talks and workshops on the future of Knowledge in an age of untruth. A diverse range of speakers from across the fields of politics, media, philosophy and academia will convene for one inspiring and provocative day of keynote talks, discussion groups and workshops, looking at Knowledge in all its forms.

Pan Macmillan KQ Book Club - Take the Questionnaire!

Pan Macmillan are excited to announce plans for a local Book Club in collaboration with the Knowledge Quarter! It will be a fantastic way to meet, network - and as anyone who has been in a Book Club previously already knows - have a lot of fun.  Books don't just provide a sanctuary to be enjoyed in solitude, they are also an important way of bringing people together.

Careers Carousel - Volunteer Opportunity

Careers Carousels involve students rotating in small groups around 20 volunteers, spending around 10 minutes with each volunteer. These events are a great way for students to gain confidence in talking to a wide variety of professionals, whilst broadening their awareness and knowledge on the range of careers relevant to their interests and aspirations.

Wellcome is looking for a KQ partner to collaborate on their new pilot project

Wellcome is looking for a KQ collaborator for an innovative pilot project that aims to influence how much meat people choose to eat. Livestock production is a large contributor to potent greenhouse gases. Diets high in animal products are also associated with an increased risk of non-communicable diseases. The project team will work together to make a positive shift in reducing meat consumption.
