Knowledge Quarter partners are invited to SOM DO SENTIDO a night of upfront Brazilian music programmed by cutting-edge Brazilian label Mais Um Disco at Camden Market as part of Camden Sentido; a celebration of the links between Camden and Brazil including its street culture, passion for music and food, and the textiles of both places.

Crafts, Design and Innovation by Julia Bennett

Julia Bennett, Head of Research and Policy at the Craft Council, writes about the emergence of a market for craft innovation skills in industries as diverse as healthcare, biotech and the automotive industry. Julia explores how the close proximity of creatives and makers to research institutions and science innovators in the Knowledge Quarter could generate exciting collaboration.

Orchestra of the Swan with Thomas Nickell

Kings Place invite Knowledge Quarter partners to a much-anticipated visit from Orchestra of the Swan, the distinguished orchestra of Stratford-upon-Avon, featuring Young Steinway Artist, Thomas Nickell. Nicknamed ‘The American Mozart’, Nickell is one of the rising stars of his generation. The evening’s programme includes works by Bach, Britten, Martland, Matthews and Walton.

Welcome to New Knowledge Quarter partners

Eight new partners have joined London’s Knowledge Quarter (KQ) today, bringing the number of organisations involved to 73. The total number of partners is now more than double the number involved at the initial launch of the partnership.

One Camden – Letter from the Leader of Camden Council

Camden Council is monitoring and taking action against any form of hate crime in the follow up of the EU referendum. Invitation to Make, Do and Bend: The One-Dayer

Knowledge Quarter’s partner, The London Sinfonietta, is partnering with the hub to produce Make, Do and Bend, a project bringing together musicians, composers and creative technologists to explore how digital technology can open up new forms of interaction.
