Knowledge Quarter partners, supporters and staff will come together and celebrate the Knowledge Quarter’s second anniversary and formally launch the new Knowledge Bank. Taking place within the newly opened and breath-taking Francis Crick Institute, partners will be treated to an intimate evening of talks and performances.
The Knowledge Bank is an online platform to connect Knowledge Quarter institutions and individuals together; allowing Knowledge Quarter partners to exchange expertise and insight from individuals with a range of backgrounds and institutions. Choreographers can meet surgeons, biochemists can meet poets, and activists can meet archivists. We find the more disparate the worlds, the deeper the connections that can be formed.
The Knowledge Quarter has had a hugely successful second year, testament to the continued commitment and support of all our partners. Since our initial launch we’ve welcomed a further 43 organisations into the network, cumulatively delivered over 70 events, talks and visits and highlighted the vital role our partners play in the local community and for London’s knowledge economy.
