Knowledge Quarter 1

Marketing your Library

Knowledge Quarter partner, The British Library, is delighted to announce the event ‘Marketing your Library’ on the 6th of November 2015 from 10am to 4pm. For any library looking for new ways to engage with their users, please come and join this session as speakers explore ways to interact with library users, be that face to face or through your virtual library services.

You can hear from a variety of speakers talk about their different viewpoints on this topic. During the day speakers will explore new ways of looking at the services that libraries could provide online by examining the way researchers engage with online resources. You will also hear about new communications and marketing projects which the speakers are engaged in.  You will also get a detailed talk on how best to utilise social media and the strengths/weaknesses of each format. You can also brush up on your skills on dealing with face to face communication.
