The Royal Veterinary College is seeking to appoint maternity cover for the position of Outreach Development Manager. The right candidate will continue to deliver the existing sessions offered for young people from Widening Participation backgrounds, whether as part of their school experiences or attending individually during school holidays.

The post holder will have an excellent track record of inspirational teaching and devising sessions. In addition, the post holder will be expected to contribute to the sustainability of programmes through identifying sources of funding for public engagement.

The candidate will be expected to have an informed voice in the long term strategy of the Widening Participation Team through engaging with the RVC’s Theory of Change, and bringing in knowledge of schools and teaching to inform future directions.
