The Knowledge Quarter’s 2019 conference “The Future of Knowledge: Think Better. Think Together.” will explore real-world strategies for democratising, decolonising, demystifying and disseminating knowledge.

Should gender matter in the medical profession? Join the Royal College of Physicians museum for a special evening focused on the struggle for female medical equality in the 20th century.

Being Human Festival 2018

Being Human: a festival of the humanities returns 15–24 November 2018. Led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London, in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the British Academy, Being Human is a national forum for public engagement with humanities research. The festival will highlight the ways in which the humanities can inspire and enrich our everyday lives. 

Community Champions: Youth

Our second Community Champions event is on the theme of Youth, covering Early Years, Primary and Secondary education, family and youth programmes. We are looking for local charities and community groups based within the Knowledge Quarter area or those that are developing projects with communities based in the Knowledge Quarter, that wish to showcase their work connected to the theme of youth at this event.
