Tech skills for the creative sector seminar

The Knowledge Quarter is delighted to partner with the London Stansted Cambridge Consortium (LSCC) in tackling the need for tech skills within the creative sector. UK projections suggest the need for an additional 745,000 employees with digital skills between 2013- 2017.

Books and the Human: AHRC 10th Anniversary Debate

Celebrating the Arts and Humanities Research Council’s 10th anniversary in a collaboration between AHRC and Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, ‘Books and the Human’ will pose the question: what are the primary relationships between books and knowledge, and between books and human beings?

Knowledge Quarter:Positive Disruption Talks

On the 25th of October as part of the Bloomsbury festival, the Knowledge Quarter organised a series of talks on the theme of Positive Disruption at Conway Hall. The multidisciplinary reflected in the panels provoked an inspiring debate on what the effect of positive disruption can be in science, arts, technology and its impact on society.

Positive Disruption Talks

Knowledge Quarter presents a series of three talks on the theme of positive disruption in Science and Medicine, in the Cultural and Creative Industries and its societal impact. As part of the Bloomsbury festival the talks will take place at the Knowledge Quarter partner, Conway Hall on Sunday 25th of October 2015.

Crossroad of Curiosity

On Friday 23rd October at 6pm there will be a reading of selections from Rimbaud’s Illuminations at the British Library outside within the Crossroads of Curiosity installation in the Poet’s Circle on the piazza.

'Cities, Museums and Soft Power' book Launch review

On the 8th of October 2015 the Knowledge Quarter launched the book ‘Cities, Museums and Soft Power’ at the British Library. The event proved to be very successful arousing strong interest among knowledge Quarter partners and other cultural organisations.
