The Knowledge Quarter, a partnership of over 85 academic, cultural, research, scientific and media organisations within a one-mile radius comprising of King’s Cross, Bloomsbury and Euston, is marking its third anniversary with a one-day Conference of talks and workshops on the future of Knowledge in an age of untruth.
Weaving Knowledge - Call for submissions
Knowledge Quarter has partnered up with British Land for the development of a site-specific installation at Regent's Place. ‘Weaving Knowledge’ is the concept behind the installation that aims to celebrate the wealth of knowledge that is being produced in the area. The idea is to create a large-scale intervention that infuses the space with colour and playfulness, as well as relevant, site-specific meaning.
Knowledge Quarter awarded landmark Government Science and Innovation Audit
Universities and Science Minister Jo Johnson has today instigated a Science and Innovation Audit for an area of London known as the Knowledge Quarter; encompassing Bloomsbury, Euston and King’s Cross. The consortium leading the audit includes the British Library; Camden Council; the Knowledge Quarter; the Royal Veterinary College; City, University of London and UCL.
Knowledge Quarter Partners Meet Leader of Camden Council
Knowledge Quarter partners had the opportunity to meet with Cllr Georgia Gould, the newly elected leader of Camden Council. As leader of Camden Council, Cllr Gould presides over one of the most influential innovation hubs in London and the base for a large number of Knowledge Quarter partner institutions.
Knowledge Quarter welcomes three new partners
The Knowledge Quarter (KQ) welcomes a further three organisations as partners, bringing the total number of organisations involved in the partnership to 89. The KQ is delighted to welcome Edith Neville Primary School, Goodenough College and London Higher.
Knowledge Quarter: Report of the Public Realm Charrette
The Knowledge Quarter is pleased to announce the release of the Public Realm Charrette report. Following the audits in Spring 2016 which looked at the quality of the public realm of all the streets and roads in the Knowledge Quarter area, two streets, Phoenix Road and Randell’s Road, were chosen as the subject of two charrettes which were held on the 20th and 21st September 2016.

The Knowledge Quarter is marking its third anniversary with a one-day Conference of talks and workshops on the future of Knowledge in an age of untruth. A diverse range of speakers from across the fields of politics, media, philosophy and academia will convene for one inspiring and provocative day of keynote talks, discussion groups and workshops, looking at Knowledge in all its forms.
Knowledge Quarter Expands with Eight New Partners
The Knowledge Quarter (KQ) welcomes a further eight organisation as partners, bringing the total number of organisations involved in the partnership to 87. The KQ is delighted to welcome EIT Digital, London School of Business and Management, McCaldin Arts, Pan Macmillan, The Reading Agency, Sadler's Wells, Universal Music and Warwick in London.
