The Knowledge Quarter welcomes three new partners
The Knowledge Quarter (KQ) welcomes a further three organisations as partners, bringing together over 100 cultural, research, scientific, business and academic institutions both large and small under one umbrella.
The KQ is delighted to welcome:
MSD is one of the top five biopharmaceutical companies in the UK and employs over 2,000 people across five sites across the region. As a global company, for over 125 years, MSD has been guided by the conviction that great medicines change the world. MSD is ‘Inventing for Life’, helping to transform the lives of millions of patients in the UK by providing innovative medicines, vaccines and services, through partnerships with the NHS and the work of the inspiring people who make up its company.
The Physiological Society is Europe’s largest network of physiologists and has been at the forefront of science for 140 years. It brings together over 4,000 scientists from over 60 countries, and its members include over 60 Nobel Prize winners from Ivan Pavlov to John O’Keefe. Since its foundation in 1876, its Members have made significant contributions to our knowledge of biological systems and the treatment of disease.
UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA) is a charity and membership organisation that works to support international students and the institutions, students’ unions and other organisations that work closely with them. By working collaboratively with its members, UKCISA is able to raise concerns with government departments and raise awareness of the benefits that international students bring to the UK in the media.
