Start-up Ecosystem Research

University College London and the Knowledge Quarter are conducting some research into the flourishing start-up sector in and around King’s Cross, Angel and Euston.

The research will be launched in the form of a report in October. It aims to collate the voices of start-ups, academics, local councils, developers and managers of co-working and accelerator spaces, in order to paint a full picture of the trends and pressures of the sector, and put forward recommendations to ensure its continued growth in a geographic area that is being squeezed of space by other industries. The report will be a significant lobbying paper for the sector, and can be used to attract the attention of investors and government.

We are inviting key players in the sector to get involved with the research through various methods:

If you’re a start-up, you can fill in our survey here. However, we’d also love to hear your voice in person! If you’re available to take part in a one-hour workshop to help inform the research we have three happening in September.
