Shape the Future
Shape the Future is the collaborative project to develop the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals’ (CILIP) Strategic Plan for 2016-2020. The project consists of an open consultation that runs between the 25th September and the 16th December 2015.
The main channel for responding to the consultation is via the dedicated online questionnaire. This takes about 20 minutes to complete and asks a series of questions based on the consultation document as well as providing an opportunity for more open responses.
Comments and responses on the questions raised in this document from all stakeholders, including members and non-members, external parties, staff and partners are welcome.
A strategy is a story we tell about the future we want to create. This is the new opportunity for library, information and knowledge professionals designed to provoke a conversation about how we look ahead to this near future as a professional community with confidence.
