FUTURE LONDON
Introducing our new series of public discussions on the emerging technologies transforming London, delivered in partnership with The London Society.
22 January, 2026
Emerging technologies are invisibly transforming London and life in the city. Algorithms, big data and artificial intelligence are as real and present as our streets, buses and buildings. They shape how we live, move and work in the capital. Ubiquitous and rapidly evolving, these technologies will have a dramatic impact on London’s future.
But what does a future London really look like? And how can we ensure that transformational technology creates a better London for all its inhabitants?
A new series of public discussions, delivered in partnership with Knowledge Quarter members and The London Society, aims to demystify a new era of technological revolution in the city.
Running throughout Spring 2026, “Future London” will bring together technologists, domain experts and community leaders across five themes, covering housing, transport, sustainability, health and culture. Through open discussion and debate, our experts will help us better understand how new technologies are being deployed in the present, and inspire us to reimagine a healthier, greener and more equitable future London.
We invite people from all backgrounds to join us for these discussions. Rather than promising utopia or predicting dystopia, this partner-powered series offers a public forum to reflect on an evolving city and the choices shaping its future.
Tickets cost £9.60, but Knowledge Quarter members go free.
Tickets are currently on sale for the first event on Arts & Culture and the second event on Sustainability, both happening in March.

The London Society is for all those who love London. It was founded in 1912 by a group of eminent Londoners concerned about the lack of planning in the capital.
Luminaries, such as Sir Edwin Lutyens, Raymond Unwin, Aston Webb, Beresford Pite, Frank Brangwyn, brought people together to debate key issues about the future of the capital – housing, roads, railways, the channel tunnel, bridges and even airports.
Today, the Society runs building tours, organises public debates and lectures, including the annual Sir Banister Fletcher Lecture, addressed by distinguished speakers.
