Join the KQ for a free, guided curator tour and step into the past with a guided curator tour, uncovering glimpses of the lives of enslaved people and the British postal system’s complicity in their enslavement throughout the 19th century.
About the Exhibition
Discover the untold stories behind the British postal service’s role in transatlantic slavery at this exclusive morning view of Voices of Resistance, a striking new exhibition at The Postal Museum, in collaboration with the Knowledge Quarter.
Uncover hidden histories from the Caribbean island of St. Thomas – where mail, power, and exploitation were deeply intertwined – and hear how new research and personal archives are reshaping what we know today.
The exhibition’s curator will lead a special tour for KQ guests, offering insight into the materials on display and the process of bringing these overlooked narratives to light.
