Discover the remarkable stories of women from across medieval Europe at our exclusive morning private view at the British Library.
About
On display is an exceptional array of manuscripts, documents, early printed books, paintings, coins, textiles, and objects that shed light on the lives, influence, and legacies of medieval women. The exhibition features rare items from the British Library’s own collections, alongside major loans from world-renowned institutions including the Louvre, the British Museum, the Victoria & Albert Museum, and more.
We look forward to welcoming you to this special morning viewing, offering a chance to experience these fascinating artefacts in an intimate setting before the Library opens to the public.
