Knowledge Quarter Press and PR Professionals Meeting: Working with Press in the time of Covid
Join fellow KQ Press and PR Professionals on the morning of Monday 22 March for a virtual coffee. This event will be hosted by Elle Docx, KQ Board Member and Director of Communications for the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
It is easy to get comfortable with your working habits and it is a daunting prospect to have your traditional and reliable methods uprooted and challenged. Press in particular is a very hands-on and sociable job role that often requires meeting journalists and contacts face-to-face. As a result of the lockdown, furlough and general well-being, some of the most integral elements of press work have been significantly impacted and conventional press approaches have been replaced by virtual relationships and conflicting priorities. The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment invite you to this knowledge-sharing session to talk about how working with press has changed during the pandemic. This session will provide an opportunity to reflect on how strategies, attitudes, relationships and well-being have been affected and share your experience with other press workers from a variety of industries.
The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment are a historically informed Orchestra who are Artistic Associate at Kings Place.
