Join us for a masterclass in managing stress at work, in partnership with C&I Wellbeing Partnerships, of Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust.
The pandemic has not only had an impact on peoples’ mental health, but it has pushed this need to the top of the wellbeing agenda for many, if not all, organisations. This masterclass will help you understand how stress impacts our mental and physical health and wellbeing and will also give you some tips on how to have a helpful conversation with your colleagues and manager about managing stress. We will also have a think about what we can do to help break the cycle of stress, and prevent this from becoming a more serious issue, such as anxiety or depression.
This masterclass will be facilitated Lisa Carmody, Lisa is a Manager within C&I Wellbeing Partnerships, of Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust. Lisa is a qualified Mental Health Nurse, completing her training in 2003 at City University London. During her 19 years working in the NHS she has worked in various London NHS Trusts and in rural Dorset. Her main experience lies in working in Early Intervention in Psychosis in the community with young people and working on Research studies trialling psychological approaches to support people experiencing a range of mental health issues, working closely with University College London. She has taken further training in Mindfulness, Family interventions and it also a qualified Yoga teacher.
