Plastic is everywhere.
When we talk about the plastic crisis we no longer simply mean unsightly plastic bottles lying half submerged along river banks, or the plastic bags caught in trees, or the six-pack yokes that trap unfortunate birds. Plastic is ubiquitous; It is in the air we breathe, the water we drink and the food we eat.
Our Sustainability Roundtable on the subject will examine the problem from several perspectives. We will hear from professionals on the front lines of the crisis; recycling experts, scientists, and individuals pushing for change in their organisations.
The roundtable format allows for ideas to be shared between Knowledge Quarter partners. Has your organisation cut single-use plastics from its canteen? Is your organisation implementing a more effective recycling policy? Join our roundtable and share your insights with fellow KQ partners. Our intention is for everyone to leave with a greater appreciation of what can be done and what should be done in your organisation, as well as a greater awareness of the problem to share with friends and family.
