In the search to understand the smallest building blocks of our universe, particle physicists have invented incredible ways to detect and visualise the sub-atomic world. From the bubble chambers of the 1950’s to the digital displays of the Large Hadron Collider these images have not only helped to enrich our understanding, they are really beautiful too!
This is your chance to find out about these tiny particles and create your own seasonal decoration inspired by the way they interact. So bring some friends, come and enjoy a glass of mulled wine and an evening of making as you find out about the mysteries of this unseen world. This event is for adults aged 18+
