About the Speakers

Lindy Hemming is a Welsh costume designer, who won the Academy Award for Best Costume Design for Topsy-Turvy in 1999. At the Costume Designers Guild Awards 2008 and Costume Designers Guild Awards 2017, she won Best Costume Design in a Fantasy Film for The Dark Knight and Wonder Woman, respectively.

Vicki Mortimer is a renowned British designer who has designed for a large range of theatre, opera and ballet productions. She won Best Designer in the 2017 Critics Circle Awards, followed by an Olivier for costume design in 2018, both for Follies.
