Come and Meet Tomorrow’s Innovators – Call for Collaborations

TeenTech runs highly interactive events designed to inspire young teenagers and their teachers about the contemporary world of Science, Engineering and Technology.  Students and teachers have the opportunity to try their hand at experiments, to handle leading edge technology and, most importantly to spend time with the Technologists, Scientists and Engineers influencing their 21st century lives.

teentech_2On 12th January 2017 TeenTech is holding a large-scale event at the Emirates Stadium in London that will bring together 700 students with 50 leading Companies and Universities.  The main day part of the day is aimed at students aged 13-14 prior to making significant subject choices, dispelling gender stereotypes and shifting perceptions of careers teenagers may have considered “difficult”.  The later part of the day includes a careers session  aimed at students aged 15-18.

Knowledge Quarter partners’ work that is very much aligned with TeenTech and they are invited to run an interactive stand for the day.

TeenTech does not charge companies for space – just asks that they plan a stand which offers students who will arrive in small groups for 15 mins at a time an engaging, hands-on opportunity to discover more about your work.

KQ partners, including UCL, CILIP, Digital Catapult and Westminster Kingsway College are already collaborating with TeenTech and would encourage partners to join this group.
