Being The Story

Knowledge Quarter partner, The Conway Hall, in partnership with Sounddelivery presents Being The Story; one day event featuring the stories of ten inspirational individuals which will spark conversations, challenge perceptions and stimulate ideas.

The line up of dynamic speakers includes a social entrepreneur, community activist, photojournalist and campaigner – people with lived experience of everything from prison, homelessness, domestic abuse to war.

Across the day you’ll hear the testimonies from speakers including award-winning photojournalist Giles Duley, Support the Youth Founder Sam Smith, domestic abuse campaigner, Mandy Thomas, author and Parkinson’s ambassador Emma Lawton, Pastor and community campaigner Lorraine Jones, and lawyer and access to justice champion Sue James.

Their talks will spark conversations, challenge perceptions and provoke ideas.
