Orchestra of the Swan with Thomas Nickell
Kings Place invite Knowledge Quarter partners to a much-anticipated visit from Orchestra of the Swan, the distinguished orchestra of Stratford-upon-Avon, featuring Young Steinway Artist, Thomas Nickell. Nicknamed ‘The American Mozart’, Nickell is one of the rising stars of his generation. The evening’s programme includes works by Bach, Britten, Martland, Matthews and Walton.

Markings - Illustration and Performance Festival
Markings is a unique collaboration between Knowledge Quarter’s partner Central Saint Martins, University of Arts and the House of Illustration; an exciting new festival that investigates the relationship between illustration and performance. The festival invites to think beyond the flat surface and consider how performance can be used to invigorate the form; and asks performers how illustration might offer added dimensions.
