The British Library is searching for a HR Business Partner with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to drive forward the Library’s strategic change agenda.

The post holder will act as the relationship manager for all levels of management within the designated service areas and to liaise with the respective Chief Officer at a strategic level ensuring all developments within the service areas are both enabled by and in accordance with HR policy.

Additionally, the HR Business Partner will be responsible for ensuring the provision of appropriate and consistent HR services to the assigned service areas as well as represent HR and fully participate in various corporate strategic projects by supporting the delivery of the Library’s People Strategy.

The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified, able to demonstrate experience of working in a generalist HR unionised environment with the ability to manage and prioritise a demanding workload to ensure effective service delivery.
