Wellcome is looking for a talented and experienced individual to join its digital editorial team as a Digital Editor.

The digital editorial team looks after the content on Wellcome Collection’s website. The team publishes Stories, a regular feature journalism that explores human health and experience from a wide variety of lived experiences. The post-holder will join a department that is in the process of revolutionising digital access to Wellcome’s collections and centralising the digital activities onto a single website.

The successful candidate will have experience in commissioning and editing journalistic content, and the ability to generate and assess ideas and translate them into deliverable content. Additionally, they should have a curiosity about the intersections between art, humanity and health, and be familiar with the basics of digital content strategy and design, and collaborative practices like pair-writing.
