The Place, London’s creative powerhouse for dance development, has been leading the way in dance training, creation and performance for 50 years.

The Place is now looking for a Classes and Courses (C&C) Trainee to join the busy C&C team. The C&C department is an ever-growing part of The Place that prides itself on developing relationships with individuals and groups of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. The Place’s extensive programme of classes runs 6 days per week for around 40 weeks of the year and consists of weekly evening and weekend classes as well as intensive holiday projects and half-term activities. Recent holiday projects have included: Children and Youth Summer Dance Courses led by BalletBoyz and Sarah Golding, Adult Summer Dance Courses led by Richard Alston Dance Company, Shobana Jeyasingh Dance and Tavaziva.

As C&C Trainee, you will be a vital part of the C&C team, assisting with the day-to-day administration of the programme and providing exceptional levels of customer service for our participants. You will have the opportunity to liaise with a wide range of participants, teachers, artists and musicians all of whom bring a wealth of enthusiasm and knowledge to our C&C programme. You will develop your customer service and administrative skills and expand your knowledge of marketing strategies for recreational dance.
