Help a young person reach their potential in STEM

In2scienceUK

The charity In2scienceUK empowers young people from low income and disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue degrees and careers in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). Through high quality work placements and careers guidance, Year 12 students (16-17 year olds) discover firsthand what the STEM sector has to offer, supporting them to unlock their potential in STEM and become the pioneers of the future.

In2scienceUK has empowered over 1,000 young people and is seeking researchers to support them this summer by signing up to host a work placement.

By hosting a student you can help them develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to pursue STEM, whilst renewing your own passion for research! Involvement in the programme counts as evidence of your public engagement and In2scienceUK can provide endorsement for grant applications.

Sign up here to host a 1-2 week summer placement. All hosts receive training and supplementary materials.
