The Community Champions project is a series of events designed to bring Knowledge Quarter (KQ) partners together with local charities and community groups, in order to encourage KQ partners to develop collaborative projects around the themes of youth, employability, environment, wellbeing and nexus. This particular event will cover the built environment, accommodation, internal and external play spaces, parks and nature.

Following on from the success of our  first Diversity Roundtable earlier this year we will be holding a second meeting, again hosted by the Alan Turing Institute. This roundtable will be centred around the theme of staff diversity, with the presentation of a Diversity and Inclusion Toolkit.

KQ partners will have the opportunity of an exclusive curator tour of 'Raids, Rations and Rifles - Islington during the First World War', looking at the stories behind some of the nearly 10,000 Islington natives who lost their lives on the battlefields of the First World War.
