Unsung Powers: Women who shaped Senate House Library

24 01 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

- Free, Booking Required

The Senate House Library present their latest lecture: ‘Unsung Powers: Women who shaped Senate House Library’ with Dr Karen Attar, Curator of Rare Books and University Art at the library itself.

This lecture follows on from the University of London’s year-long celebration of leading women. Women have been connected with libraries for many years, but their importance and impact are not always obvious, such as the intimidating Muriel Quinn and the generous Edith, Lady Durning-Lawrence.

This event is free to attend and will start with a short Annual General Meeting.
