Come and learn more about four local change-makers.
The evening will start with drinks and light refreshments. Each non-profit will make a 6 minute pitch for up to £3000. After the pitches people have the opportunity to give to the projects that appeal to them.
The four non-profits are all supported by Camden Giving’s KX Fund, they are:
Action Youth Boxing Intervention is a free fitness for children and young people in Somers Town, it combines boxing tutorials with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and supports over 200 young people a year.
C4WS help homeless people in Camden rebuild their lives be providing support including Winter Night Shelter and employment opportunities.
Little Village Camden works a bit like a foodbank, but instead of food they provide quality baby products and clothing donated by local families. They are gifts from one family to another.
Speak Street is a pop-up language café and a positive response to negativity towards immigrants in the UK. They offer free English language clasess to immigrants, migrants and asylum seekers.
Your first donation is your £10 ticket, 100% of this will be given to non-profits pitching on the night. The minimum donation on the night is £20.
