Wellbeing
Fostering a culture of compassion for colleagues at work is one of the most integral ways employers can contribute to minimising workplace stress.
In this session, Camden and Islington NHS Wellbeing Partnerships will explore what compassionate leadership looks like, how compassion in the workplace affects performance, and how it can be scaled up from an individual level into the culture of an organisation.
LISA CARMODY, Wellbeing Partnerships Manager, C&I NHS Foundation Trust
Lisa is a qualified Mental Health Nurse, completing her training in 2003 at City, University of London. During her 19 years working in the NHS, she has worked in various London NHS Trusts and in Dorset. She has worked in Acute Adolescent Inpatient care, Community Nursing, alongside GP’s in Primary Care settings and in a Research team. Her main experience lies in working in Early Intervention in Psychosis in the community with young people and working on research studies, trialing psychological approaches to support people experiencing a range of mental health issues, working closely with University College London. She has ran various workshops and presentations on wellbeing as well as supervising junior colleagues.
Her particular areas of interests are adolescent mental health and mindfulness. She has taken further training in Mindfulness, Family interventions and it also a qualified Yoga teacher.
