Jasmine is a Creative Producer. She is currently Head of Programme at Poet in the City where she curates and produces Poet in the City’s public programme of live events and projects. Co-production with artists and communities runs through the core of Jasmine’s practice, and her aim is to find ways to use poetry as a tool to forge new connections across people, places and histories. Much of this practice has been developed from Jasmine’s background in community engagement where she collaborated with young parents and care leavers on social action projects, and from her masters where she specialised in co-creation methods. Jasmine is also currently working with the Social Art Network to build agency for socially engaged artistic practices in the UK.
