Zinc’s first programme officially ended a couple of months ago, but their first mission – to tackle women’s and girls’ mental and emotional health – has only just started. The first programme has resulted in 16 new companies which are aimed at improving the mental and emotional health through a diverse range of solutions.

These mission-led start-ups are now on their early stages, and are looking to connect with people who want to join their journey. This could be as a first hire, internships, providing mentorship, investing or even joining the board.

Zinc Connect is a new series of quarterly events with the purpose of helping the Zinc companies connect with talent, mentors and partners. The series will also create valuable networking opportunities for the experts, talent and partners in our network, to grow and enhance relationships within our growing community.

How can I get involved?
We are looking to bring together people who are interested in getting involved with Mission 1 ventures through one or more of the following:
1) Becoming an Advisor / Mentor
2) Joining a Business, as a team member, or on a project-basis (internship, student placement), volunteering
3) Supporting the Businesses as an investor, or with other resources, such as work-space.
