Knowledge Quarter Partners engaged in activity with communities have the opportunity to present community engagement projects, meet and mix with other partners and share learning and best practice.

Alice in Wonderland Exhibition

To celebrate 150 years since the publication of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, the British Library is launching a free exhibition which explores how Alice has captured our imaginations for so many years. The British Library team has also created a fantastic pop-up shop. A whimsical space piled high with wondrous gifts inspired by the earliest drawings of Alice and her friends.

Tech skills for the creative sector seminar

The Knowledge Quarter is delighted to partner with the London Stansted Cambridge Consortium (LSCC) in tackling the need for tech skills within the creative sector. UK projections suggest the need for an additional 745,000 employees with digital skills between 2013- 2017.

‘Modelling the Knowledge Business’ workshop

The Knowledge Quarter (KQ) and The University of the Arts London (UAL) are working in partnership to host an event that will provide rare insights into the ways in which knowledge based institutions and businesses make knowledge available in the marketplace and to their wide range of customers and clients.

Knowledge Quarter:Positive Disruption Talks

On the 25th of October as part of the Bloomsbury festival, the Knowledge Quarter organised a series of talks on the theme of Positive Disruption at Conway Hall. The multidisciplinary reflected in the panels provoked an inspiring debate on what the effect of positive disruption can be in science, arts, technology and its impact on society.

Knowledge Quarter presents a series of three talks on the theme of positive disruption in Science and Medicine, in the Cultural and Creative Industries and its societal impact. As part of the Bloomsbury festival the talks will take place at the Knowledge Quarter partner, Conway Hall on Sunday 25th of October 2015.

'Cities, Museums and Soft Power' book Launch review

On the 8th of October 2015 the Knowledge Quarter launched the book ‘Cities, Museums and Soft Power’ at the British Library. The event proved to be very successful arousing strong interest among knowledge Quarter partners and other cultural organisations.
