The Reading Agency is seeking to appoint a Head of Fundraising.

As a national charity, The Reading Agency works closely with partners to develop and deliver literacy programmes for people of all ages and backgrounds.

To this end the charity helps 1.4 million people benefit from reading every year, through its programmes, campaigning, networks and influence.

The candidate will be a passionate, self-driven fundraiser whose responsibility it is to shape and deliver The Reading Agency’s fundraising strategy. This is a new role within the organisation, building upon work already undertaken to review its vision, mission and purpose, and develop a case for support.

You will have a proven track record of success in individual giving, and ideally some experience of legacy, corporate or trusts fundraising.
