SUMMARY:KQ Private View | Charles Dickens Museum
DESCRIPTION:Join the Knowledge Quarter for our last free morning private view of 2025 at the Charles Dickens Museum\n  \nAbout the Charles Dickens Museum\nSituated at 48 Doughty Street\, this beautifully restored Georgian townhouse was once home to Charles Dickens\, his wife Catherine\, and their young family. \nIt was here that Dickens completed The Pickwick Papers\, wrote Nicholas Nickleby\, and created one of his most famous works\, Oliver Twist – the stories that would make him a household name and win the admiration of Queen Victoria herself. \nToday\, the museum is arranged as though Dickens had just stepped out\, with intimate rooms filled with his own furnishings\, portraits\, and treasures. Step back into 1837 and experience the atmosphere of a bustling Victorian home\, lit with warmth and history – a world that inspired A Christmas Carol and the timeless spirit of generosity and joy it celebrates. \nEvent Details \n\nDate: Tuesday\, 9th December\, 2025\nTime: 08:30 AM – 10:00 AM\nLocation: 48 Doughty Street\, London\, WC1N 2LX\n\nIf you have any queries\, please contact events@knowledgequarter.london. \nRSVP here\nIf you are registering under the ‘KQ Member’ ticket type\, please ensure you RSVP with your staff email.
