A fantastic job opportunity has arisen at the British Library for a Strategic Digital Project Lead, where you will help conceptualise, design and shape a digital public library service for the UK. Working with leading players across the public, library, digital and publishing sectors, you will lead a 12-18 month project to develop and test the proposition for a single digital presence for UK public libraries.
It is envisaged that this is an 18-month project, with a clear break-point after the first year to take stock and confirm the appropriate level of investment in any digital build that might be approved for the final 6 months. Applicants on secondment would be welcome.
You will be passionate about libraries and making a difference to public services. Ideally you would have experience of working with libraries, digital industries or as a digital product manager but you will definitely be comfortable with project management as well as conveying and synthesising complex ideas simply and well to stakeholders at all levels.
Deadline to apply is 16 October, click here for more information.
