The Place is an innovative international dance space encompassing training, creation and performance that attracts artists and audiences of all ages from around the world. It takes risks and is ambitious, bringing the boldest dance to the largest, most diverse audience possible.

The Place is looking for talented, driven people with experience in finance and audit, property and regeneration, producing and touring, to join its Board of Governors.

This voluntary role brings many professional rewards such as boardroom experience – adding to your CV and offering a positive step in long-term career development and leadership experience.
Governor meetings take place four times a year. In addition, Governors are expected to sit on at least one other committee and are expected to engage with and advocate for the diverse work of The Place which includes attending performances, fundraising galas and events.
