Join FYA’s lunchtime league

Knowledge Quarter partner Fitzrovia Youth in Action (FYA) lunchtime league is nearing its completion and there are now looking for new teams to join the next league.

There are seeking teams to join there 5 a side lunchtime league, with 40 minute games taking place at 12.00, 12.40 and 1.20pm. The high-tempo 40 minute games have been designed to allow players to enjoy some healthy, competitive football against other local companies or rival departments and still allow time for you to recover and eat your lunch.

The league format will see 6 teams playing against each other twice over for 10 weeks. All the money raised from the league is directly used by the FYA to support local young people to create positive changes in their community and in their lives.

The Tuesday league will begin on the 13th of June and the Thursday league will start two days later on the 15th June, with the possibility of also exploring a Wednesday League.

For each match, balls and bibs will be arranged and a referee will oversee. The costs of the league will be the following:

  • £50 per game
  • £100 registration fee (non-refundable)
  • £100 league fee (refundable)
