London Metropolitan Archives is pleased to announce that the Great Parchment Book Blog has been nominated in the Arts and Culture category of the UK Blog Awards 2016. The Great Parchment Book is held as part of the archives of the Irish Society alongside those of the City of London Corporation at London Metropolitan Archives (LMA).

The Great Parchment Book Blog highlights the cutting edge technologies that are already revolutionising access to archives and manuscripts, to inform and educate about conservation and the role of digital imaging, and to contribute to developments in the digital humanities, all of which have been evident in the Great Parchment Book project at the LMA.

The Public Vote has opened and Knowledge Quarter partners can support the Great Parchment Book project and the blog to enable it to progress in the awards.
