Inspired by The Francis Crick Institute’s first major public exhibition, Open for Discovery, there are running a series of free art-science workshops that explore the world of scientific discovery.
Investigate how scientists are re-thinking research to help shape the future of human health by making your very own handmade zoetrope, a device that changes multiple still images into an animation.
Led by award-winning Medical Artist Merlin Strangeway with the support of Crick researchers, the workshops are free to attend and open to adults and families. The workshops are recommended and are suitable for children aged 6 and over.
