A concert of song in languages from across the globe. With the New London Children’s Choir conducted by Ronald Corp and the N10 Choir conducted by Lazina Gheyselinck. Including works by Couperin, Vivaldi, Bach, Schubert, Rossini, Reger, Bartók, Sokolov, and Turnage, and songs in Finnish, Zulu, Japanese, French, Hebrew, Hungarian, Latin among others.
The concert follows an interdisciplinary study day examining the relationships between music and language. Presenters to include: Klara Kofen, Prof. Fiona Sampson, Dr Nina Rolland, Prof. Philip Grange, Dr Paul Archbold.
