Forty representatives from Knowledge Quarter partner organisations and local community groups met for an al fresco Community Champions event, the first in a series of events conceived to inspire greater collaboration between the two.

We are delighted to announce that we will be joining forces with British Land (Regents Place) and KQ partner Produce UK to produce our third Festival of Knowledge on Fri 5th and Sat 6th October 2018 at Regent’s Place. All Knowledge Quarter partners are invited to submit proposals for any of the festival programmes.

The Knowledge Quarter has been shortlisted for this year’s Leading Culture Destinations Awards (LDC), Soft Power Destinations of the Year Category, for the Best Cultural District award.

Course for Tour Guiding in Camden recruiting now!

Camden Tour Guides Association are now accepting applications for their 2018/19 course which runs on Wednesday evenings from September to May with additional Saturday practical sessions. Learn guiding skills complemented with knowledge about the history, architecture, people and tourist attractions in the borough. 

The Knowledge Quarter welcomes five new partners

The Knowledge Quarter (KQ) welcomes a further five organisations as partners, bringing together over 85 cultural, research, scientific, business and academic institutions both large and small under one umbrella. The KQ is delighted to welcome Camden Spark, in2scienceUK, Humanists UK, the Aga Khan Foundation UK and New London Architecture.

The British Library wants to hear from you

The Research Services Department of the British Library would like to hear from you, members of the Knowledge Quarter, to help them shape and influence future research services. The Library is particularly interested to know what types of products and services you find useful and which existing services you want developed.

Oriana White, from Tufnell Park, has been announced as Festival of Learning’s 2018 Highly Commended Outstanding Individual Learner, for her exceptional achievements in adult learning. This award recognises those individuals who, through learning, have transformed their own lives and the lives of their families, friends, their communities, and the places they work. 

The Institute of Physics are Hiring

Its exciting times in Institute of Physic’s science and innovation unit. They are making a significant investment in their physics landscape big data work and as part of that are recruiting a Programme Manager, Data Insights Manager and a Data Analyst. They are also looking to recruit a Programme Manager to evolve their awards programme and member networks in academia and business.
