Volunteer opportunities at our upcoming conference

The Knowledge Quarter is looking for volunteers for our upcoming conference ‘The Future of Knowledge: Think Together. Think Better.’ which is taking place on Wednesday 26 June at the British Library. The Future of Knowledge is a one-day conference of talks and workshops on the Future of Knowledge and how innovative collaboration can bring about positive change.

Knowledge Quarter Breakfast with Theo Blackwell

In October 2018 Knowledge Quarter Partners attended a breakfast with London’s Chief Digital Officer Theo Blackwell as the speaker. Theo introduced Knowledge Quarter Partners to the Civic Innovation Challenge – an initiative to spur innovation in the tech sector as part of the Smart London Grand Challenge.
Arup Report into UK innovation districts

UK Innovation Districts and Knowledge Quarters – Driving More Productive Growth

The consulting and engineering firm Arup has released a report outlining the importance of innovation districts to the UK economy. The firm has been working with the UK Innovation Districts Group (IDG), a body established in October 2017, which represents six major innovation districts across the UK. The report makes the case for increased government funding into UK innovation districts. Read the report in full here.

On the 25th October 2018 Knowledge Quarter partners once again convened to discuss the topic of ‘staff diversity’ and share current practice in this area.

We are hiring: part-time Events Manager

The Knowledge Quarter is hiring a part-time Events Manager to develop and grow our annual conference and a portfolio of events which play a significant part in what we offer to our partners. This is a three-day-a-week position, on a six-month contract with the potential of extension. Applications close on Monday 19 November.
