We are looking to hire an Events Intern to support and lead the scheduling and organisation of our popular events programme, including private views, breakfast discussions and roundtables, as well as our annual conference and festival.

In October 2018 Knowledge Quarter Partners attended a breakfast with London’s Chief Digital Officer Theo Blackwell as the speaker. Theo introduced Knowledge Quarter Partners to the Civic Innovation Challenge – an initiative to spur innovation in the tech sector as part of the Smart London Grand Challenge.
Arup Report into UK innovation districts

UK Innovation Districts and Knowledge Quarters – Driving More Productive Growth

The consulting and engineering firm Arup has released a report outlining the importance of innovation districts to the UK economy. The firm has been working with the UK Innovation Districts Group (IDG), a body established in October 2017, which represents six major innovation districts across the UK. The report makes the case for increased government funding into UK innovation districts. Read the report in full here.

On the 25th October 2018 Knowledge Quarter partners once again convened to discuss the topic of ‘staff diversity’ and share current practice in this area.

We are hiring: part-time Events Manager

The Knowledge Quarter is hiring a part-time Events Manager to develop and grow our annual conference and a portfolio of events which play a significant part in what we offer to our partners. This is a three-day-a-week position, on a six-month contract with the potential of extension. Applications close on Monday 19 November.

Knowledge Quarter and The Francis Crick Institute are pleased to announce KQ Labs, an intensive accelerator programme offered to high growth potential startup teams in the area of data-driven biomedical science. There is a £40k award on offer, as well as unrivalled support and resources, to all successful applicants.

Knowledge Quarter Festival of Knowledge EOI

We are delighted to announce that we will be joining forces with British Land (Regents Place) and KQ partner Produce UK to produce our third Festival of Knowledge on Fri 5th and Sat 6th October 2018 at Regent’s Place. The Knowledge Quarter has been shortlisted for this year’s Leading Culture Destinations Awards (LDC), Soft Power Destinations of the Year Category, for the Best Cultural District award.
